Wolfivan Ranch is a beautiful 38-acre family farm located in the rural community of Valley Center in San Diego County. Our fields are home to quality Nigerian Dwarf Goats, which we breed for show, milk and undeniably adorable photos. Our love for our animals and all things natural extended into our second business, Essential Addictions, where we take pride in handcrafting luxurious beauty and body products from nature’s finest.

Every business has a starting point, and our hobby farm first took flight when my son was experiencing a sensitivity to cow’s milk. He loved the taste of milk, but his body just couldn’t stomach it. However, do you think that stopped him from indulging? Definitely not! As an alternative, I implemented Nigerian Dwarf Goat’s milk into his diet. Luckily it didn’t bother his stomach, and he loved the taste as it was creamy, sweet, and delicious! Goat’s milk is also a highly respected super food, with benefits often disregarded. It is naturally rich in iron, calcium, essential vitamins, fats, protein, and so much more!

Our farm in Valley Center was once an avocado and citrus grove. After the drought hit and the water bills rose, having an avocado and citrus farm became too expensive to sustain. We wanted to repurpose our acreage, without requiring the use of too much water on the land. This is where our new purpose came into play!

What started with 2 goats specifically for milk production, quickly transformed our intended hobby farm turned into a passion. Today, we breed superior Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats with careful genetic selection, take part in shows, and participate in the ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association) performance programs such as linear appraisal and DHI (dairy herd improvement) program to track the herd’s milk production. Our love for organic and natural ingredients was the inspiration behind our bath, body and beauty brand, Essential Addictions. We have implemented the ingredients from our pesticide free-farm, including our incredible goat’s milk, and utilize their benefits for our skincare line. By doing this, we have been able to share some of our all-time favorite skin secrets with our growing community. At Essential Addictions, our mission is to craft products that are wholesome, healthy and natural, but that also give actual results! We focus our brand on how important it is to have a dedicated self-care routine, by incorporating real, wholesome ingredients, while also caring for the environment.
