Hidden Hills Natural Mystic is out of SGCH Alethia M Dew Lee Noted, a beautiful Superior Genetics, finished champion with an LA score of VEEE91 @ 4yrs old. She is the last daughter of SGCH Algedi Farm DJ HoneyDew EEEE91.
Mystic is a very special doe created from a collaboration between herds. Long and beautiful story short, Mystic was the result of loaning my buck, SG Algedi Farms CK Kinetic Riptide to my good friend Jennifer of Hidden Hills Nigerians to use on one of her best does and in return was given to me as a gift.
Mystic kidded as a first freshener at 2 years old with quads. She milked 1276 pounds/80 butterfat/ 51 protein. Also that year, she won her first Grand Championship and scored VEEE89 at LA, highest possible score for a first freshener. The next year Mystic kidded with quints. She finished her championship and milked a whopping 1489 pounds/ 119 butterfat/ 58 protein. Based on years passed, she will hopefully qualify for Top Ten Breed Leader with that butterfat production. Mystic placed 7th in her 3 year old class at the 2022 ADGA National Show in Harrisburg, PA. She kidded with triplets at 4 yrs old and at the 2023 ADGA National Show in Redmond, Oregon she was the 2nd place Four year old and was given the Total Performer Award! To top it off, Mystic’s daughter, Wolfivan One Love was 1st place yearling milker at the 2023 ADGA National Show.
Wayfaring Stranger’s sire is the 2023 Premier Sire, Wolfivan CQ Kentucky Bourbon. Kentucky is the son of Old Mountain Farm Cyrus Quinn who sired the 2021 National Champion AND the 2016 ADGA Jr. Champion, and was recognized as the Premier Sire in 2018. His dam is SGCH Joyful Hearts KR Phoebe VEEE91, At 2 years old, Phoebe earned her AR Star, milking 1290 pounds in 305 days, was awarded the Superior Genetics title, she became a finished champion and was awarded Best Doe in Show that year. Kentucky’s littermate sister, Wolfivan CQ Ginger Root was the 1st place 2 year old at the 2022 National Show and 3rd place 3 year old at the 2023 National Show. Kentucky has several beautiful daughters. One of them is Wolfivan Boot Scootin Boogie who has 1 junior grand championship and 1 best in show. She was also the 3rd place 2 year old at this year’s National Show. Kentucky’s Dry yearling daughter, Wolfivan Gin and Juice was 4th place in her class this year at the National Show.
Stranger himself is a very correct buck kid. He is upstanding with prominent withers. He excels in dairy strength and is long bodied and wide throughout with a strong back and a wide and level rump. He inherited that deep chest floor with a beautiful brisket extension from both his dam and sire. I couldn't be more thrilled with this special little package!
